A retelling which improves on the original and which works also as an early introduction to Chinese New Year traditions and as a tale about reaching out to new friends. 'As well as the fun retelling, the nice explanation of Chinese New Year and the appealing characters, I really liked the gentle message that if you make a mistake or get something wrong, you can put it right again!
