“Whirl and wiggle! Whirl and wiggle! Let’s scuttle and snap to the Jellyfish Jiggle!”
A small child of colour and his rabbit pal carefully set up their beach spot with towel, sunscreen, snorkel/mask/flippers, spade and cooler. But before long, a crab is inviting them to scuttle, then a penguin suggests a dive, until a dolphin pops up to suggest a swim instead- and so it goes on, with a swarm of sea creatures contributing to a fantastic underwater dance culminating in a jiggle with neon pink and green jellyfish!
Children will enjoy joining in with the actions. Jiggles with rhythms and rhymes, making this a perfect read aloud. The protagonist also happens to have a prosthetic limb. ‘I liked this. Lovely colours, sea creatures, rhyming text which little ones could move with. The child is drawn with prosthetic limb- incidental.’ (June, Disability Activist, Letterbox Library reviewer).
