Tibble has a lot to say. But Grandpa is always gardening and has very, very little to say. Mum says he just needs time. Instead, Tibble asks him to name his top 3 sandwiches. Grandpa sighs but offers up an answer. Inspired, Tibble moves on to top 3 jellyfish. By the next day, Grandpa has put his gardening tools aide and is asking Tibble for his top 3 days out, A full-on grandad/son day ensues. And, together, they finally share memories of grandma. A very touching story of bereavement in which a young child stirs their grandparent back in to the world. Bold and beautiful watercolours from Egnéus. ‘A lovely, moving story…the bluntness and straightforward speaking of Tibble portrays just how a child would deal with his grandpa…the story is enhanced with beautiful illustrations and within it all, a sense of reality and life going on’ (Elaine, Elaine, Foster Care Associates Liaison Officer, Letterbox Library reviewer).
